Every student should feel safe, supported and empowered to thrive academically and personally.
At Hellyer College, we are committed to supporting every student through a holistic wellbeing approach, consistent with DECYP values of respect, growth, courage and connection. College life is different from high school, and we aim to ensure all students feel safe, supported and empowered to thrive both academically and personally.
Students are encouraged to speak with their Subject Teachers, Career and Life Planning (CLP) Teacher, Assistant Principals or Principal if they have questions about their course or require assistance with wellbeing, pastoral or general concerns.
Students can access additional holistic support through our professional support team. To access these services, speak with an Assistant Principal, who will arrange a referral to the appropriate team member.
These services work together to ensure students feel connected, supported and able to flourish—reflecting DECYP's commitment to whole-person wellbeing.
